I help high school and university students build real intuition for mechanics, electromagnetism, and modern physics — not just memorize formulas for the next test.

I'm Ankit, co-founder of PhysicsWelt and a physics tutor with 6 years of teaching experience. I live in Munich, Germany, and hold a Master's degree in Technology. My technical background has given me a strong foundation in mathematics, engineering, and physics, which I bring into my teaching.
Over the years, I've worked with students preparing for AP Physics 1, 2 & C, IB Physics HL & SL, A-Level Physics, as well as first-year university courses in Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism.
My approach to teaching is simple: physics should be understood, not memorised. I enjoy breaking down challenging concepts, connecting the mathematics to the physics behind it, and helping students develop the confidence to tackle unfamiliar problems.
And yes, I'm a bit of a geek — as my wife would happily remind you! 🤓 Outside physics, I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter, Rick and Morty, and Batman. I believe that curiosity, a sense of humour, and a willingness to ask "why?" are just as important in physics as knowing the right formula.
Let's make physics something you understand, enjoy, and master.

"I went from a C to an A- in AP Physics C. The way [Tutor] draws out free-body diagrams finally made Newton's laws click for me."
— [Student Name], AP Physics C
"Office hours at my university moved too fast. These sessions actually slowed down and rebuilt the concepts from scratch."
— [Student Name], University Mechanics
"Patient, well-prepared, and genuinely good at explaining E&M in a way that isn't just formulas on a page."
— [Parent Name], IB Physics HL
